Subtitles on calls
Writes what the other person is saying across the bottom of the screen while they speak. The Ken works the words out by itself: nothing is saved and nothing is sent anywhere. English only, and on a call with several people the words are whoever is speaking, so they get muddled if two people talk at once.

Hearing
Not set up
The Ken sends call sound to a Bluetooth neck loop, which passes it straight to a hearing aid set to T or M+T. A loop costs about £25 from a chemist, from Amazon, or from the person who fitted the aid. Most aids cannot take sound from the Ken directly, so the loop is the part that makes it work.
Hearing loop with a T-coil?Set your hearing aid to T or M+T. The loop sends sound straight to your aid.
Bluetooth hearing aid?A few aids pair like an ordinary Bluetooth speaker, and those work. Most pair only with a phone: they will connect to the Ken and then stay silent. If that happens, use a neck loop.

Let family see when I'm online
When on, your family's app shows when you were last on a call or read a message. When off, they see only that the Ken is set up.
Your family can see you're keeping in touch.
This setting shares only that you're active, never what you say or do.
